What’s behind Manga & Anime? Why are these so popular? We will look at Japanese cartooning, learn a bit about the history & techniques and apply our skills into making creative and original Japanese frame-boards. Hand drawing and digital tablets may be utilized with a variety of widely accessible software programs, including Krita™, Manga Studio™, Paint Tool Sai™, and MediBang Paint Pro™.  Course fee includes $20 supply fee.

Are you in search of new opportunities to nurture the creativity in your little Picasso? In this class we will explore a variety of mediums and themes involving drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture geared toward the youngest student. Each child will learn to greater appreciate art and their own creative power. Course Fee includes tuition and supply fee.

Do you want to be better at public speaking, nail a college or job interview or learn how to have the voice of a leading man or lady? If you answered yes to any of these then Stage Voice is a must-take class! Utilizing the work of renowned voice teacher, Arthur Lessac, students will develop the natural musicality to their voices as well as discover the healthiest way to speak, project, enunciate, etc. Used by famous actors such as Jim Parsons and Frank Langella, the Lessac work is the key to finding your own unique voice.

Dance Programs

Join us for the fabulous dance sessions one Sunday of each month at the Center for the Arts; or try out a dance class with one of our fabulous teachers. Beginners and advanced dancers are all welcome.

Arts on the Go

The Arts on the Go project consists of four self-contained interactive exhibits, each with a distinct theme. Two modules (Habitats and Energy Matters) have been designed for use in elementary schools, and two other modules (PowerUP! and Biomes of the World) have been created for middle school students.
