Ages 7-12

Instructor: Lydia Bratton

Manga style drawing and Anime art forms fascinate and inspire a huge international fan base. This camp will introduce the history, influences and hand-drawing techniques of Japanese cartooning to ages 7-12.

Camp fee includes $25.00 Supply fee.

Bring your imagination to the magic lands of Princes and Princesses, Kings, Queens, Knights, and Dragons.  Each day will feature different kingdoms and characters from Cinderella and Prince Charming; Jasmine and Aladdin; Kristoff, Anna & Elsa, Moana and many more of your favorite movie characters.  Wear your own costume to camp each day or try on something from our costume closet, and learn the songs, dances, and tales of each magic kingdom.  We will make some of our own props and enjoy a visit from family and friends on the final day for a short celebration of our accomplishments.

Actors & actresses, this dance workshop is for you!  Get ready to audition for our January production of Newsies or your school musical and learn the basic moves that are used by choreographers on the Broadway stage.  So… bring your jazz shoes and tap shoes and be prepared to dance like a real "star"!

Arts on the Go

The Arts on the Go project consists of four self-contained interactive exhibits, each with a distinct theme. Two modules (Habitats and Energy Matters) have been designed for use in elementary schools, and two other modules (PowerUP! and Biomes of the World) has been created for middle school students.
