Spider Man, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Xena Warrior Princess - let your child’s imagination run wild with this thrilling week long camp of heroes and heroines. Each day your child will embark into new and exciting adventures while developing skills in drama, music, and dance.  Campers will help create their favorite characters and costume pieces or invent their own. So unleash that superhero and have some fun.  Family and friends will join us for an awesome adventure on the last day.

Ages 9-14

Cool, moldable, malleable clay - one of the great tactile wonders of the art world! Join this class to learn several techniques of clay hand-building. We will create a pinch pot, a slab pot, a coil-built pot, and a free-form animal sculpture. Through this process, we will also be exploring three dimensional form and function. We will finish our pieces with paint and a variety of creative embellishments.

Camp fee includes $25.00 supply fee.

Instructor: Lydia Bratton

Using Adobe Photoshop as the drawing platform and a mouse or tablet, students can digitize their personal drawings, landscapes, or abstract artwork.  Print black and white and/or color final artwork in class. All art experience levels will find this instruction and practice to be beneficial; parents with their children are welcome!

Camp fee includes $20.00 supply fee.

Dance Programs

Join us for the fabulous dance sessions one Sunday of each month from 4-6pm at the Center for the Arts. Beginners and advanced dancers are all welcome.

Arts on the Go

The Arts on the Go project consists of three self-contained interactive exhibits, each with a distinct theme.  Two modules (Habitats and Energy Matters) have been designed for use in elementary schools, and a third module (PowerUP!) has been created for middle school students.
