Instructor: Kim Joy
Using Precious Metal Clay, students will create a fine silver leaf to make a beautiful pendant. Please bring a leaf no larger than 2” by 2”; instructor will have some leaves available. Make sure the leaf is not fuzzy or hairy. Good leaf examples: ivy, geranium, fern. Instructor will take pieces to her studio for firing and return them to the Center for pick up. Tools are available for workshop use. Materials fee $33 for Precious Metal Clay (market price at time of catalog printing) payable to the instructor.


Rooftop Productions' presents You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown  at the Kellar Theater in the Center for the Arts on Fridays and Saturdays, May 5-20, 2017. The production is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and directed by Ted Ballard. This is a great show for the entire family!

Tickets purchased online will be available at will call the day of the show. Open seating. All ticket sales are final.

Do you want to be better at public speaking, nail a college or job interview or learn how to have the voice of a leading man or lady? If you answered yes to any of these then Speaking for Success is a must-take class! Utilizing the work of renowned voice teacher, Arthur Lessac, students will develop the natural musicality to their voices as well as discover the healthiest way to speak, project, enunciate, etc. Used by famous actors such as Faye Dunaway, Jim Parsons, and Frank Langella, the Lessac work is the key to finding your own unique voice.

Join us for the fabulous dance sessions one Sunday of each month from 4-6pm at the Center for the Arts. Beginners and advanced dancers are all welcome.

Arts on the Go

The Arts on the Go project consists of three self-contained interactive exhibits, each with a distinct theme.  Two modules (Habitats and Energy Matters) have been designed for use in elementary schools, and a third module (PowerUP!) has been created for middle school students.
