Age 8-12
(2 weeks) June 26-July 7;  no camp 7/4
Mon. - Fri. 9am-3:30pm

The curtain is rising on this exciting dramatic and musical theatre workshop.  Join professional guest artists and teachers in a theatre arts adventure through theatre games, drama, acting techniques, mime, scene study, and improvisation.  Morning sessions in dance, music, voice, musical theatre, and theatre combat add a variety of skills essential to the young actor. The afternoon session features a musical theatrical performance workshop.  Students will have the opportunity to participate in all elements of the production from character development to creating sets, props, makeup, and costumes.  Friends and family are welcome to attend the performance on the final afternoon.


Ages 11-18

Mon. - Fri. 6-7:30pm

Actors & actresses, this dance is for you!  Come and learn the different styles of dance that are used by choreographers on the Broadway stage. You will also be introduced to the basics of dance that will help you improve your moves for your next audition and performance.  So, bring your jazz shoes and be prepared to learn how to dance like a real "star"!


Ages 5-7
(2 weeks) July 10-21
Mon.-Fri. 10am-12:30pm

For a recipe of fun add a dash of fantasy, a pinch of adventure, and sprinkle liberally with fairy dust for this magical journey into musical theatre for ages 5-7.  Storybook Theatre introduces the young actor to basic performing skills through movement, music, and imagination.  Children have fun acting out a simple play based on a childhood tale or short story.  Family and friends are invited to a performance on the last day of this two week adventure.


Age 8-15
(2 weeks) July 10 - 21
Mon. - Fri. 1-4:30pm

Musical theatre hits the stage in this premiere program at the Kellar Theater at the Candy Factory.  Drama, music and dance come together as students work on an entertaining new musical production.  Participating young actors will showcase their talents with a final performance on Friday, July 21 at 5:30pm.  All students must be available for the final performance.


Age Teen - Adult
(3 weeks) July 10-28
Mon./Wed./Fri. 6:30-9pm

Mystery, mayhem, and intrigue all add up to a prescription for murder.  With nerve rattling suspense, chills, thrills, alibis and spine tingling plot twists, don’t tell anyone “whodunit”…and keep the audience guessing.  Dessert’s on us during the culminating performance on Friday, July 28 at 7:30pm at the Kellar Theater.


Ages 12-Adult
(5 Weeks) June 26-July 31 (No class July 3)
Mon. 7:00 - 8:00 pm
As with any instrument, the human voice sings the sweetest notes with proper training. If your instrument could use some fine tuning, join this class to work on proper voice technique. All levels of experience are welcome. Class size is limited so register early!

New this summer!  Pied Piper Theatre presents an exciting 3 week intensive production of – ANNIE, Jr. at the Hylton Performing Arts Center’s Gregory Theater.  New York City in the 1930’s sets the stage for a young Annie who has been left on the doorstep of an orphanage and is now seeking her parents.  Billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, and his secretary, Grace Fairchild, help in the search.  Directed by Kelly Glyptis and choreographed by Kimberly Geipel, rehearsals are scheduled Mondays-Fridays 7/31-8/18 from 9am-3pm.  Actors should plan to be available for all rehearsals and for performances on Friday, 8/18 at 7pm and Saturday, 8/19 at 2pm.  Depending on enrollment, some roles may be double cast.  Sign up today to be a part of this award-winning musical based on the Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie.  (Book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, Lyrics by Martin Charnin.  Presented on Broadway by Mike Nichols.  Originally produced by Irwin Meyer, Stephen R.
