Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz; and it took the world by storm.  The 2012 Version is a masterful retelling of the original sensation, injected with contemporary references and dazzling new arrangements. Led by the international hit, "Day by Day," Godspell features a parade of beloved songs, including "Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All for the Best," "All Good Gifts," "Turn Back, O Man" and "By My Side."

A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

Open seating. All ticket sales are final. Please review our ticket policy prior to purchase. Purchased tickets will be held at Will Call under purchaser's name the day of the performance. If you'd like to pick up you tickets prior to the show, please stop by the Center for the Arts during business hours the week of the performance.

Join us for an evening of gaming.  Test your drawing and/or acting skills as we battle to find the supreme art form.  Think of charades but with two teams - one team sketches each clue and one team mimes each clue.  The first team to identify the word or phase is the winner and gets one point.  Points accumulate for each game and the team with the most points after 30 minutes will be the winner. A member of the winning team will receive a prize. Teams will play 3 games.  You can change teams at the end of each game or stay on the same team.

A Center for the Arts' art instructor and an actor will lead the teams for the first game to provide insight into tips and tricks to win the battle.  Hone you visual art skills or improvisational acting skills while enjoying some lively, fun competition.

Bring your friends and play on the same team or pit your talents against each other.  Sign up early to take advantage of the Early Bird prices.  The first game begins at 7pm.  Drop-ins are welcome and can join the game in progress.

Refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available.
