Experience an authentic lotus-leaf painting workshop in the tradition originated in Himapan Gallery of Thailand. With studios thriving in New York, Paris, Bangkok, the Czech Republic, and Canada, Himapan has developed a creative process that is unique and accessible. Don't miss this opportunity to flex your creativity and produce an exquisite work of art in a very relaxing atmosphere. Gorgeous solid structure wooden canvases are already prepared with beautiful decoupaged lotus leaves. Instructor Carla Riga will provide paints, brushes/sponges, varnish, and helpful tips to inspire and get you started. You will leave with a painting ready to be hung, no additional framing needed. Sign up early - enrollment is limited. No previous art experience needed. Canvases and supplies are included in fee.

Have you ever marveled at the exotic creatures of the world and their wondrous variations in size, shape, color, texture & power? This class is the perfect vacation variation in our A is for Artist series. We will explore a variety of mediums and themes involving drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture geared toward the young elementary student, and take inspiration from all things WILD.

Camp fee includes $30.00 supply fee.

Take a trip around the world with your sketchbook in hand.  Visit a faraway continent, city, landmark, or beautiful rural view with no waiting in lines, lost luggage, or travel fees! Improvement of fundamental drawing skills will be the focus the class, with virtually unlimited visual reference possibilities courtesy of Google Street View!  Through a wide array of lessons, students will learn to recognize and proportionally represent edges, shapes, negative space, line, and shadow, while finding inspiration via technological exploration.

Camp fee includes $20.00 supply fee.

Dance Programs

Arts on the Go

The Arts on the Go project consists of four self-contained interactive exhibits, each with a distinct theme. Two modules (Habitats and Energy Matters) have been designed for use in elementary schools, and two other modules (PowerUP! and Biomes of the World) has been created for middle school students.
