Ages 5-7
(3 Weeks) Jan. 23-Feb. 8
Mon & Wed. 5:30-6:30pm

Do you provide mom and dad with lots of entertainment at home? Then bring your imagination and explore your talents in this magical adventure into acting. Theatre games and improvisation provide a wealth of new acting skills and self-confidence to budding actors!


Ages 8-12
(3 Weeks) Jan. 23-Feb. 8
Mon. & Wed. 6:30-7:30pm

Got the acting bug? While perhaps not as easy as accomplished actors make it seem, acting builds on techniques that you can learn and practice. In the Acting and Improvisation class, you will learn many techniques so important to auditioning and developing not only your acting abilities, but your self-confidence. This is your chance to explore audition basics, warm-up routines, script work, improvisation, scene study and character study. Action!


Ages 7-14
(5 weeks)  Jan. 9 - Feb. 13 (no class Jan. 16)
Mon.  7:00-8:30pm

Instructor:  Lydia Bratton
Improve your fundamental drawing skills with the wide array of lessons presented in this class. Learn to recognize and proportionally represent edges, shapes, negative space, line, and shadow. This class may be taken multiple times; the lessons presented will vary from session to session. Students new to drawing instruction will learn basic techniques; more advanced students will further develop skills & explore new directions. Course fee includes $20.00 supply fee.

Dance Programs

Join us for the fabulous dance sessions one Sunday of each month from 4-6pm at the Center for the Arts. Beginners and advanced dancers are all welcome.

Arts on the Go

The Arts on the Go project consists of three self-contained interactive exhibits, each with a distinct theme.  Two modules (Habitats and Energy Matters) have been designed for use in elementary schools, and a third module (PowerUP!) has been created for middle school students.
